Yuxuan Jiang

Biographical Sketch

I am currently a Lead Inventive Scientist at AT&T Labs, based in Bedminster, NJ, USA.

I obtained my Ph.D. degree from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2019, under the supervision of Prof. Danny H.K. Tsang. From 2017 to 2018, I was a visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA, where I worked with Prof. Carlee Joe-Wong. (Here is a story about our joint work.) In 2019, I spent six months as an intern at NEC Central Research Laboratories, Kawasaki, Japan. I also had industry experience at Ericsson Canada through the Mitacs Accelerate Industrial Postdoc program.

I am enthusiastic about teaching. I delivered lectures on deep reinforcement learning in the iMERIT Summer School at Dalhousie University, Canada, in 2021 and 2022.
